Leap 4
From week 14, the time has come. Leap 4, the world of events, could start for your baby. The first signals of leap 4 will appear between weeks 14 to 20 after the due date. During leap 3 your baby learned to see several smooth transitions, patterns, or sensations without seeing any connection. But after taking leap 4, your baby will start to understand that together, these form one big event.
The fussy phase of leap 4: change brings resistance
When leap 4 starts, you will notice that your baby cries more, is clingier and crankier than before. This is the fussy phase of the leap. This fussy phase usually lasts five weeks but could also last anywhere between one to six weeks. The skills phase: a leap forward
The fussy phase of leap 4 will be over by about week 20. Then it is time for the nicest part of the leap: the skills phase. Your baby has gotten used to the new world and will start to explore the new skills that go with it.
